Moose Jaw has always been a city that shows up for its neighbours. Today, we’re inviting you to be part of a new chapter in our community’s story.
Since the closure of previous local supports, a gap was left for queer and trans folks in our city and surrounding rural areas. PRISM Moose Jaw was born out of the need to fill that gap. We are a grassroots non-profit dedicated to creating a safe, visible, and empowered space for 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals of all ages.
Our Pride planning subcommittee is currently hard at work developing a full slate of programming and events for May and June 2026. This year, we are bringing the community together for a Pride Parade in Crescent Park, a Drag Show, and our “Pride After Dark” celebration. We are also prioritizing the development of new, dedicated initiatives for local youth to ensure they have a safe space to connect and grow.
We are seeking community sponsors to help us bring these events to life. By sponsoring PRISM, you aren’t just supporting an organization; you are sending a clear message that your business is a safe and welcoming space for everyone in the Friendly City.
Your contributions will be used directly to fund venue and equipment rentals, catering, decor, and advertisements. They also help cover travel and accommodation costs for our entertainers and provide prizes and giveaway gifts for our youth participants. Most importantly, your support ensures that these vital community spaces remain accessible to everyone.
